We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new Minnesota Mycological Society website, featuring an ever-growing collection of delicious mushroom recipes. Whether you’re working with wild morels or your favorite cultivated varieties, our recipes are made to inspire mushroom lovers of all skill levels.

Enter Our Recipe Photo Contest!
To celebrate our website launch—and in conjunction with our Minnesota State Fair Display—we’re inviting MMS members and friends to help us build out our recipe gallery by entering our Photo Contest.
How to Enter:
- Visit our website and choose one (or more)recipes from our mushroom recipe collection.
- Cook the dish—feel free to try as many as you like! Multiple entries are permitted. You can also tweak recipes to your liking (share any modifications with us in the comment section of the recipe).
- Photograph your finished masterpiece—get creative with your plating and lighting.
- Email your submission to newsletter@minnesotamushrooms.org by 12 PM on September 15, 2025. Please include your name and the recipe you made in your email, and how it turned out in the comment section of the recipe! You can also email us with any questions.
What You’ll Win:
The top photo submission will receive a free one-year household membership to the Minnesota Mycological Society—a $25 value and your all-access pass to the mushroom-loving community of your dreams.
You’ll also have major bragging rights. Your photo may even be featured on our website, helping future mushroom cooks find inspiration for their own foraging feasts!
