The Minnesota Mycological Society is proud to join the Arboretum’s annual Community Trees display for the Winter Lights celebration. Our 2025 tree, “Toadstool Tannenbaum,” celebrates the beauty and diversity of fungi through natural, fantastical, and educational materials.

Time & Dates: 4:30-9 p.m. daily, Nov. 21-26, 28-30 and Dec. 5-7, 12-14, 19-23, 26-30 
Cost: Children free (15 and younger), $10 members, $25 non-members

Trees in the Community Tree exhibit will be on display for both daytime and evening visitors throughout the Winter Lights event. Stroll the illuminated gardens, enjoy seasonal music, and experience the Arboretum transformed into a glowing winter wonderland. Toadstool Tannenbaum highlights this mission by blending art, science, and imagination—inviting visitors to see mushrooms as both ecological marvels and sources of wonder.
