A colorful event poster for Earth Fest 2026. Bold text at the top left reads "Earth Fest 2026" over an illustrated globe graphic. A blue banner across the top announces "Saturday, April 25 · 12–4PM" at the UW-River Falls University Center in River Falls, WI, with "Free Community Event! All Are Welcome!" in yellow. Three photos show outdoor activities, a crowded indoor event space, and a person in an elaborate nature-themed costume. A green panel on the right lists highlights: Local & Sustainable Food Samples, Entertainment with a timed schedule, Green Skills Sampler (30-minute mini classes on the 3rd floor, 12–3PM), Activities for All Ages (indoors and outdoors — art, science, more!), 80+ Exhibitors, and Giveaways. A dark blue circle on the left reads "Plan Ahead:" with bubbles listing Battery Recycling, Clothing Swap + Mending Station, Well Water Testing, Prescription Turn-in, and Parking/Shuttle Info with bullet details. The Hope for Earth logo appears at the bottom left with the website hopeforearth.org/earthfest, Facebook and Instagram handles. A QR code links to additional event information.

The Minnesota Mycological Society will be on the floor with 80+ exhibitors, sharing live and preserved mushrooms, talking fungi with curious visitors of all ages, and connecting with folks interested in MMS classes, membership, and upcoming events.

Earth Fest runs Saturday, April 25, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with entertainment, local and sustainable food samples, green skills mini-classes, battery recycling, and activities for all ages — indoors and out.

Stop by our table to discover why fungi are one of the most overlooked and underappreciated forces in our ecosystems. Whether you’re a lifelong nature lover or new to the world of mushrooms, we’d love to meet you.

Chef and forager Alan Bergo smiles at the camera while preparing a black walnut demonstration at an event booth, wearing a denim apron and blue gloves. A wooden board holds walnuts, small tasting cups, and a measuring cup, with signed copies of his books displayed at the front of the table. A volunteer with a pink scarf works alongside him in the background.
