Loons & Lakes 2026
The Minnesota Mycological Society will be at the Loons & Lakes Festival on Saturday, June 27, in Crosslake, Minnesota.

Hosted by the National Loon Center, this free, family-friendly festival brings together more than 40 conservation organizations, artists, and educators at the Crosslake Town Square. MMS will have an exhibitor table where visitors can explore live and preserved specimens, learn how fungi fit into the lake country ecosystems surrounding the Whitefish Chain, and ask questions about MMS classes, membership, and upcoming events.
Saturday, June 27, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm | Crosslake Town Square, 14303 Gould Street, Crosslake, MN 56442
The Loon Fair runs alongside food trucks, Loon Games, a Migration Passport activity for kids, and live music in the evening from the Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboys. Friday, June 26, features guided paddle excursions and loon-watching pontoon tours on Cross Lake.
