    What Do I Need to Know to Join?


    For all memberships:
    • You must be an adult (age 18 or over) to sign up for a membership with the MMS. Anyone under 18 will need to have an adult sign up for a family membership so they can be included on the membership as a minor.
    • When you apply, be ready to pay for your membership using a PayPal account or major credit cards. You’ll be redirected to the payment site once you submit the application.
    • If you have been a member in the past but your membership has lapsed, you should renew instead of join if you were a member in 2019 or later. Otherwise join again as a new member.
    For family memberships:
    • Family memberships are available to members who all reside at the same address.
    • This application cannot be completed without a valid and unique email address for each adult named on this form. This is so each adult can read and agree to our liabilty waiver independently. Don't have your own email address? You can get free email addresses through a number of online email providers. Those who fill out this form can read and e-sign our waiver in Part 2 of this application. Any additional named adults will each receive an email with a link to go sign the waiver, after you submit the application.
    • Children who participate in MMS activities must have an adult who can legally sign for them, do so. You will have the opportunity to do this on this form. In case the person who can legally sign is another named adult on this form, they will also get the opportunity to sign for their children when they sign for themselves. If no adult listed on this form can legally sign for the children, and you wish for them to be able to attend events; please contact our membership coordinator for assistance.
    Before you join please note: For those joining on or after the first day of the Minnesota State Fair, new memberships are good through the following year. For any membership questions, please contact our membership coordinator John Lamprecht.
