SUMMARY:Fall Mushroom Identification Meeting
DESCRIPTION:\nFall Mushroom Identification\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur September 8th
  meeting will be an in-person mushroom identification meeting held at Borl
 aug Hall\, AND shared remotely via Zoom. Attending in person is highly rec
 ommended to get the most out of this event.\n\n\n\nAt our identification m
 eetings\, we discuss and look at the mushrooms members have been finding l
 ately\, on their own and at our forays. Please bring any mushrooms you hav
 e found to the meeting if you'd like help identifying them. Members of the
  Foray and Education committees will present a mushroom of their choosing\
 ; discuss why they chose it\, its characteristics\, and how one goes about
  identifying it and any look-alikes.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn addition\, we'll le
 arn about our Funga Scientific Committee and their work collecting\, ident
 ifying\, and submitting fungal collections for the Bell Museum's collectio
 n. This year\, they have several projects in progress\, including DNA sequ
 encing and the committee's "Fungi Wanted" list. Some of the species from t
 his list are being prepared into pamphlets that we hope to have available 
 at MMS Forays.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresentations are recorded an
 d posted a few days later on the MMS YouTube channel. This meeting is free
  and open to the public. Members receive Zoom links on meeting announcem
 ents and reminders. Also\, anyone can click on the button below and provid
 e their contact info to be sent the Zoom link for this meeting.\n\n\n\n\n\
