Co-author of the local field guide\, Mushrooms of the Upper Midwest\, she loves atte nding the NAMA Forays\, teaching people about MN mushrooms and learning ab out mushrooms from other regions. She is enchanted with the lifelong frien dships found through these forays\, and thrilled with the success of the M arek Scholarship\, honoring the memory of one of those friends.\n\n\n\nCou rtney Keiser is the 2025 Marek Scholarship Recipient.\n\n\n\nPresley Marti n is an artist who lives and works in Minneapolis. His work questions comm only held assumptions about the environment. Based on countless hours of d irect field observations\, his works take many forms including sculptures\ , installations\, photographs and performances. Presley has an MFA in scul pture from San José State University and a BA in art history from the Uni versity of Pittsburgh. He is the recipient of an Artists Initiative grant and a Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
