11:00 am | Welcome! Social hour, cash bar, silent auction bidding, raffle tickets for sale, preview photo contest entries

12:00 noon | Indulge! Mushroom-forward luncheon, by co-executive chefs Kyle McKenzie and Giovanni Barreto

1:00 pm | Celebrate!

Menu

Starter | Roasted Blue Oyster Vichyssoise (potato, leek, cream, white wine)

Main | Grilled King Trumpet and Gold Beet Terrine (smoked parsnip and chive puree, grilled asparagus, Dijon-thyme velouté)

Dessert | Pioppino Mushroom Panna Cotta (strawberry-balsamic compote, candied pistachio)

If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know. The chef should be able to accommodate any needs.

Silent auction and raffle

Silent auction

  • Select items will be available for preview online so you can plan your bidding strategy! Members can look for email in addition to website updates on when and how you can access it closer to the banquet event.
  • Bid on goods, arts, and experiences like handmade mushroom-inspired art and expert-led forays.
  • Silent auction winners must pay with credit card.
  • You must be present when the auction closes to pay for and claim your item(s).

Raffle tickets

  • Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event: $2 apiece or 6 for $10.
  • Enter to win gift baskets created by current and past MMS board members.
  • Raffle tickets must be purchased with cash or personal check. Please note there is no ATM onsite.
  • You must be present at the time of the raffle drawing to win.

Tickets and registration

All attendees must be registered. Note that only MMS members can purchase tickets and register attendees, but members can and are encouraged to invite and include guests when registering, either other members or non-members.

Registration will be capped at 200 people. MMS members will receive a link to registration via email when it opens the first week in February.

If registration fills up before you are able to secure tickets, you can ask to join the waitlist. We will notify you if spots become available.

Parking and entrance

Ample, free parking is available at the event venue.

While there will be signage inside directing you to our banquet room, it will be easiest/closest if you enter the building at the far right door as you are looking at the front of the country club from the parking lot.

Cancellation and refunds

You will find cancellation instructions in your confirmation email. All sales are final; refunds will not be given in most cases, unless the event is cancelled. If you purchase tickets and then find yourself unable to attend, you can request a refund after you cancel. To request a refund, please by contact the banquet team at mmsbanquet@minnesotamushrooms.org. We may be able to issue a refund if we find someone to transfer your tickets to.
