We are now accepting nominations for our annual Golden Chanterelle Award.

Every year, we as members select one MMS member who has provided exceptional service to the MMS and local mycology. The winner receives our Golden Chanterelle Award and Traveling Trophy. This award can be won only once by any person.

Email your nominee’s name for this award to either Peter Martignacco or John Lamprecht, along with a paragraph or two (not to exceed 250 words) explaining why this person is being nominated. All nominations must be received by Friday, December 1st. Be sure to include the information that supports your nominee. To avoid nominating a previous winner, click here to view a list of past winners going back to 1991.

Members will vote online to select the award winner, who will be announced along with our photo contest winners at our annual banquet next February.
