MMS Taylor Lockwood Presentation @ Room 335 Borlaug Hall, U of M St. Paul campus

World Renowned photographer Taylor Lockwood will present photos, talk about special places he has been, and discuss photo techniques and equipment he uses to create some of the most astounding fungal photos anyone has ever seen!

Taylor is the author of two books – Treasures from the Kingdom of Fungi and Chasing the Rain, and several video programs including two popular educational mushroom DVDs – The Mushroom Identification Trilogy, and The Good, the Bad, and the Deadly. He has been published by: The US Postal Service, New York Times, Washington Post, National Geographic, National Wildlife Federation Magazine, Scholastic, and Scientific American.

Taylor is retiring after this tour so this is the last chance in Minnesota to see this photographic impresario. You are guaranteed to learn something and go away inspired… perhaps to win our photo contest if you are an MMS member! Taylor was recently honored by one of his fungal photos being selected for inclusion in a USPS postal stamp series featuring bioluminescence.

There is no fee for MMS members, however, non-members and guests will be charged $5.00. Attendance is capped at 190 and will be strictly monitored, so reserve your spot now! Each reservation must have a name – no block reservations.  Please arrive 15 minutes early as remaining seats may be filled with walk-ins.  For reservations, email John Lamprecht at jml313@aol.com.
