MMS Meeting
U of MN Grad Student Report and Spring Mushroom ID
MMS scholarship winner and U of MN grad student Katarina Swenson will report on her area of emphasis for her degree. Kat will report on “Rapid Ohia Death on the Big Island of Hawaii”. Ohia are native Hawaiian hardwood trees in the Myrtle family that are undergoing massive die-offs due to a fungal disease. Following her report, the remaining time will be spent on identification of various spring mushrooms brought in by our members and guests.
Please note this will not be held at our regular meeting location. We will be in McNeal Hall Rm 33.
